South Africa – Cape Town
Why Cape Town is one of the best places in the world.
It is true. This is probably one of the most amazing places I have ever been to in my life. I felt in love instantly – that’s why I came back for 5 times so far. These are the reasons why this place is unique in the world.
1. Multicultural city
I love seeing all kind of cultures around me and you definitely do here. It makes me feel at home and at ease. I have also been an Air Hostess after all and I come from a mixed background myself, so it is not surprise I love it <3
2. The nature
Wow Wow Wow! I am a nature lover and what’s on offer in Cape Town is just mind-blowing! Incredible Hikes in the Table Mountain and the Lion Head, long walks in the sanded beaches of Clifton and the Stellenbosh whine yard are just a few examples in the longs list.
3. Many sporty activities
There is so much to do here. Horse riding, shark-diving, surfing, paragliding and much more.
4. Safaris and the wildlife
I would highly recommend Sanbona Reserve. It was a great experience and the animals live in their real habitat and are protected. I was lucky enough to see amazing animals in their nature: Elephants, Lions, Buffalos, Rhinos and Giraffes. Just wonderful to see. Absolutely beautiful…
5. The richness of the creative Industry
This is probably what stole my heart in SA. I have never been in a place where there are so many creative people in one spot. Photographers, models, videographers, filmmakers, and designers are everywhere – I would say this is like a small LA – but more organic and real.
6. Woolworths clothing line
This is my favourite shop here. I am not sure if it is South African – but I love everything in their woman’s collection and I wish they did ship all over the world <3
7. Waterfront
A super cosy shopping mall located by the ocean. Here, you have many nice restaurants to enjoy and many nice boutiques to discover. They even have a tourist wheel for the ones interested!
8. Sea Point
This is my favourite area to shop, eat and drink, and just be with its many restaurants and shops along the street overlooking the beauty of the ocean. Enjoying regular activities with the water breeze and the smell of the ocean is just amazing. If you are lucky enough, you can even spot a whale!
9. Boulders Beach
It’s worth driving out of town for a chance to meet and greet the wild penguins. There are plenty of them and you can even swim with them.

10. The Ocean
The beauty of the ocean in its own entirety is indescribable. It’s very unique here as it’s very cold – 6 degrees (that’s why white sharks love those waters) and it’s a magic experience on its own to swim in the very cold water for a short time and dry yourself in the super warm wind. I love Cape town forever and ever…
