10 Things I Love About Being Cabin Crew
1. Meeting people from all over the world
One of the best parts of the job is the chance to talk to people from different places and cultures — it keeps things interesting and opens your mind.

2. Staying in hotels and having time in different cities
Layovers give me a bit of space to unwind, explore, or just relax. I really appreciate those quiet moments in new places.

3. Travelling on ID tickets in my free time
Being able to travel easily on standby tickets is fantastic — it makes spontaneous trips possible and keeps my love for travel alive.
4. Not bringing work home
When the flight is over, the work is done and that’s something I really value.
5. Working with colleagues from all over
The crew is a mix of nationalities and personalities. It’s great to learn from each other and see how people live in different parts of the world.

6. Every day is different
No two flights are the same. New passengers, new routes, new challenges — it keeps the job fresh.
7. Wearing the uniform
There’s a sense of pride in putting it on.
8. Feeling like you’re doing something important
We’re there for passengers’ safety. It’s rewarding to know that our presence makes a real difference, especially in situations where people need reassurance or help.
9. The view from above
Seeing the world from above — whether it’s a sunrise, lightning in the distance, or just a clear blue sky — is something special.
10. Being part of people’s journeys
Whether someone is travelling for a holiday, family visit, or something more emotional, it feels meaningful to play a small part in that.
